Challenges in the Home Search
The search for the perfect home can be both emotionally and financially challenging. In one of my YouTube videos, I shared my struggles in finding a suitable place for myself and my son. While purchasing a home was out of reach due to financial constraints, renting became a viable option within my budget. I am currently practicing patience and obedience. God truly revealed some things to me and reassured me that I can do this! He did not want me to rush into a year-long lease with anyone. God advised me to be patient and to hold onto my condo! I serve a powerful, almighty God!
Signs of Encouragement
During my house-hunting expedition in 2024, I encountered many potential leads that did not work out, as I received no responses from realtors. However, I found a neighborhood that I kept returning to, which had many homes for rent. I would go look at them, get all excited, and think to myself, "If this is the house, God, you will make it happen." Unfortunately, it never worked out. Then, in January, I came across a floor plan in the same neighborhood, but the house was much smaller. I kept saying, "No, this is going to be too small," not realizing what God was preparing me for.
These experiences remind us of the unseen forces at work when we're obedient to our faith. I am so happy in this journey; I have learned a lot about being obedient.
